The Apex concept actually began in 2003.

Apex picked up the slack in Houston when most of the water damage companies in the Houston area went to Florida during Hurricanes Charlie, Jeanne and Frances in 2004.

One of the first jobs that put Apex on the map was a high-rise water damage that flooded 6 stories of the high rise condo. Apex was first on the scene and was able to mitigate the damages over the next 30 days using high-tech thermal imagery to locate and mitigate hidden areas of water damage. Apex’s quick response and mitigation services were so efficient that there were absolutely no claims of mold or any other complaints.

Also, because of Apex’s fast response and their ability to work with the individual Condo owners, litigation was minimized saving possibly hundred of thousands of dollars.

During Houston’s disastrous Hurricane Ike of 2008, it was generosity and foresight of local suppliers like Kent Landsberg, BKW Supply, A&A Supply and HD Supply that allowed restoration companies like Apex to continue their much needed services in the Houston area by extending credit even though all the major insurance companies were bogged down with the multitude of insurance claims.
